So it's official, they are going to remove the lower left lobe!!! I am very impressed with how many opinions the Dr.'s have gotten before coming to this conclusion. It will be scheduled sometime in the next 14 days. But the risks are very high and I am so nervous. I just hope this will reduce the amount of infection and hospitalizations. Kindergarden is this year and he is REALLY excited. I just want him to be able to live like a normal little boy for a few months at a time anyway!!!! Hopefully all goes well <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Sometimes we just have to take that leap of faith that the doctors know what needs to be done. I can only imagine how nervous I would be in your place. It is a good thing that you can at least feel confident that they have been careful with the decision. I will keep him, and your family, in my thoughts. Hang in there.
