On birthdays, I try to remember how far we've come in the fight against CF. When I was 21, the median life expectancy was 18. At 33, the median life expectancy is 37. Just imagine how much more research of new treatments are going to raise the life expectancy of CF in the coming year. Happy Birthday!

I read the "getting older" and thought it was really nice....then, I thought wow she would think I should write "ancient" on my birthday. I am 38 with cf. Don't think about the what can happen, just enjoy every minute of every day that we are given and be sure to take care of yourself. I have and I am happy to still be kickin. I plan on being around to see my grandkids....and that had better be a long time from now since my daughter just started dating.Have fun for your birthday!!!
