GI Issue

my 1 1/2 year old daughter has an issue since she was an infant where i can hear slushing sounds in her stomach. when she was a newborn i thought it was because she was so tiny that i heard these sounds. but i still hear these swishing/slushing sounds which sound like liquid is sitting in her stomach. i hear it more when i am holding her and walking around and i hear it any time during the day, but more so 1/2 hour after she finishes a meal. it is not totally constant, but it is often. i was wondering if anyone else experiences this and if it seems like a cf issue or something else. she doesn't seem bothered about it but i think i am.

I sometimes hear fluid sloshing around in my sons stomach. It does not bother him so I do not worry about it.
I wouldn't worry to much unless your daughter vomits a lot, or it seems to upset her.
At your next clinic appointment bring it up and see what your GI doc says. Or if you don't want to wait, call in and speak to a nurse about it.
There is nothing like peace of mind.
Good luck

i have asked the doc and they say as long as she doesn't complain they wouldn't be concerned about it. but i thought maybe if someone else had experience with it they would have some helpful info about it. i like to keep my ears and eyes open<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
