I know you just wrote that you were planning to do NMB but i had forgotten about this place and I bet it's exactly what yall are going for....I lived in MB for 3 summers and we used to go to this place and hang out on their grounds....got kicked out a few times but hey, it was worth it for a little while! and way better than where we were living.....

Its located at 82 Ave North which is at the very tip of MB as you get close to North Myrtle Beach so you will not have rowdy highschoolers interrupting your weekend.

It's isolated off the main road and ocean front so It's super nice but it's very easy to then get into MB or NMB and surrounding shopping, attractions, etc. MB and NMB are big on the dinner theater thing which i have to admit (hangs head) that i've been to several of these, though unless you have small children i would not recommend it.
here is the link to the hotel:

Here is the official myrtle beach website: www.myrtlebeach.com you'll find links to EVERYTHING about hotels, eating, etc. in MB and NMB and other surrounding beaches. great resource.

Here is a list of Day Spas in Myrtle Beach:

and North Myrtle Beach:

</a>
Here is another nice hotel that is also in Myrtle Beach but at the opposite end of the beach closer to Surfside Beach:
www.crownreef.com
this is also a very nice hotel and one that my friends and i would "sneek" into to use their lazy river, and usually get kicked out of...whoops.

let me know if you need anything else!

this is unrelated to the hotels but you should not, under any circumstances, go to the huge all you can eat seafood buffets. there is good seafood to be found but not at these nasty places. if you want to best seafood drive up to Calabash, NC (about 30-40 mins above NMB) or drive down to Murrell's Inlet (about 30 mins below MB) or go to a small, local place (i can recommend some good ones)

one thing i just noticed on the crown reef website was that they support donate life SC which raises awareness in SC for organ and tissue donation.

not saying yall need to stay there b/c of that, i think the Marriot hotel i linked is nicer than the crown reef, but the donate life thing is cool....
