Leah...I'm not sure what nurse you are talking about, but the 5th floor has great nurses! I am sure all of Reece's nurses just fell madly in love with him, that big smile and all! Actually, we're on 6 this time and the nurses hear are great, too!
Andrew's picc was placed Thursday and as soon as we get good levels on his meds we can go home to finish up. It probably won't be until Monday because home health is being difficult due to Easter, but I am going to hope for a surprise discharge tomorrow. Keep you fingers crossed!
We still haven't pinpointed what is causing the drop in numbers, so I will have to bring him back in a week after discharge for more pfts. If improvement still has not been made, she wants to do another bronch. So, we will wait and see and hope the next three weeks of iv abx does the trick!
