Going to do The Vest for 8 hours straight

Vesting is a very active process by the patient when done correctly. If you plan on doing a passive 8hrs, it sounds like a waste of time. Walking is better for you anyway. The impact of walking as well as the exercise and getting blood flowing (even if it's a very slow pace) is better than vesting alone.

Also, throwing in a quick 10 second sprint--or 5 second sprint will induce coughing more than 30 minutes on the vest. Good luck!
