Shane, I too have seen phenomenal progress in my own daughter. I completely agree with everything you wrote here. FDA can't patent naturally occuring elements of the earth. Whaaat? You mean there is something in this world our gov't cannot exploit and make proift from (yet)??? Let me stop before I go on a rampage about my political beliefs.
Just wanted to add that I was glad to see another CF'er doing well on holistic treatment as well as western medicine. I just wish our docs were more open to it. If it is not FDA approved they are sketchy. Im like huuuullooooo McFly, the FDA approved cloned meat SAFE!!!!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif" border="0"></end quote></div>
Hi Jessica. I'm curious, what kind of progress using natural remedies have you seen with your daughter? I believe my progress would not have been if not for man-made drugs too; the combination of synthetic and natural works great. I would not be where I am today without man-made drugs; so don't discount them for a minute! For instance, the homeopathic remedy I substituted Zantac with, worked for awhile, but it seems my stomach produces wayyy to much acid, I was feeling like crap and my stomach was upset and growling. The directions say to take 2-3 before meals, I'd probably have to take like 5, and for nearly $8 a bottle, it's not really cost-effective to take so many, when I get Zantac for free. Needless to say I switched back to Zantac and my hyperacidity problem is unnoticeable. My mother for example, switched to this natural remedy, and it worked wonders for her. I believe its all on an individual basis.
