Ellie's 4-month visit went well today! She's 12lb 9.5oz and up to the 27% overall and up from 3% to 11% in weight-to-length ratio. Yay!! She also had a routine culture...

I posted elsewhere on the forum about avoiding winding days and her doctor said that it has no effect on bacterial acquisition, rather, the concern is airborne allergens. Also, we were considering a whole house fan due to electricity costs of running the A/C and he said he would be opposed to the idea - his concern being that it's better to circulate the inside air rather than brining potential irritants in from outside.

Congratulations on a great visit. It sounds like she's doing very well. And thanks for asking about the wind question. I was wondering about that one. ~Juliet

wow! Thanks for the info.. We have a whole house fan and run it A LOT. I'll have to start paying attention to see if there's any differnce between days we run it and days we don't. There's so much new stuff to think about isn't there?
