Got new 105 Vest Model

My 104 which wasn't that old suddenly kicked the bucket last week and Hill Rom sent me a new model, but this is the upgrade to the 105.
The only difference is that it has custom settings, which I haven't figured out yet but I'm working on it.
The only thing I don't get is that when I'm in the middle of pt, and I pause the machine to cough or pause to do my huff/cough-after I press the pedal to continue pt, it slowly reinflates and slowly builds up to my frequency. It doesn't automatically start vibrating again at say, 16, it slowly builds up to 16-If that makes sense.
The reason I dont like it is that my huff cough style relies on that instant vibrating to really beat the gunk out of me-if it takes 5-10 seconds to vibrate again at full speed thats just too long.
If ANYONE has the 105 and knows what I'm talking about, please
tell me if there's a way to set it so I can avoid this!

I was going to tell you that we had a 105 and I didn't think it took that long to resume full-force pressure after a pause, but Emily happened to still be doing her vest when I started typing and I timed it when she was on high frequency and it really did take more than 5 seconds to get up to speed w/hers too; I never thought about it before. I don't know of any way around this. I would suggest trying, instead of actually pausing it to cough, disconnecting a hose. That will break the airflow and decompress the vest, allowing you to cough, but as soon as it's reconnected you'll immediately get full-force pounding again.
