Hello,
I am 22 yr old w/CF, and I recently bought this book called Cystic Fibrosis: A Guide for Patient and Families, I think it would be really great for someone who has a young child with CF. It talks a lot about daily life, complications with CF, and other problems down the road. I found it very helpful, and I have been living with CF for 22 years (and have a degree in biology.) It is also very recent (2003.) I just wanted to let others know this book if out there! Oh, and it is by David Orenstein, who is a CF doc I believe.

I couldn't agree more with you! We were given this book by a nurse at our CF Clinic when my daughter was in the hospital after her CF diagnosis. She was only 3 months old and the book has been very helpful in helping us to understand the disease and how all of our family will live with it! Great book!!

I agree!!! This is a great book for anyone with CF and their families!! My doctor first told my Dad about this book, and he went out and bought it, then I read it, and it was wonderful. There was so much information and many things that I didnt even know about the disease and I have it!! I would recomend this book to anyone! Just throwing my 2 cents in...
