Shannon -- they came in my packet for being a team leader, but if you want them call your CFF Great Strides Fundraiser person. S/he can get them for you.

Ideas: I've done yard sales, the kids have done a lemonade stand(in the summer). Maggie's nursery school last year did a change collection. Walmart donated tootsie roll candy banks, each child in the nursery school got one and returned it 2 weeks later filled with change, dollars and checks. The teachers took the opportunity to do a small lesson on money, sorting the change and then we all walked to the bank and poured the change into one of those machine that turns your change into larger bills. I think we'll do the change collection again, I'm working on Walmart to make that donation again At Maggie dance recital we sold roses, a local florist donated them at cost and parents, grandparents, friends buy the roses for their little dancers and the $ goes to CF. Last year, we ran out of roses way too fast. We will do the rose sale again, but order at least double the amount of roses. We also used the 65 roses story for that sale.

Jenn, I think about how Emily will react, too. I already know that it raises a little jealousy in ISabelle, but I think that will subside as she understands more.

As far as ideas...I have lots of them, but not much time to act on them. Last we we did Jeans for Genes, a Pampered Chef luncheon (my PC "girl" donated her commission a nd my hostess rewards - made about $150), our comedy improv night with silent auction...this year we are doing all of the above (If I get my butt in gear!) and a brat stand (you probably don't "get" this if you aren't from WI).

I'm trying to think of something I can do to involve the moms of Isabelle's friends. She has had sooooo many playdates and birthday parties this year and I"ve gotten to know some of the moms...I'd like to "use" that - LOL.

I LOVE the roses at the dance recital idea. I might approach Isabelle's dance studio and see if they would consider doing it. Maybe I can get a florist to donate 65 roses to sell at her recital. Who's not going to buy a rose for thier dancer???

Now, somebody give me a day o ff of work to start doing this stuff...and some motivation, please!!!!
