Great Strides number question...

Thanks all. I spoke with our CFF.org walk director and she and I have a game plan to channel DH's excitement. I think when he sees what is all involved when we start with our team, he'll understand my concern about overextending ourselves AND over-asking family for donations.

We also do just one walk a year. Before I had kids, and before my health declined recently, my husband and I volunteered on a couple committees to put together other events. One of them was wine tasting, one was beer tasting, one was a golf tournament. A lot of effort goes into those one day events, they need all the help they can get. It's months and months of work and meetings and gathering corporate sponsorships. It's a different kind of "help" than a letter writing campaign for Great Strides. Maybe your husband would find satisfaction in those events too?
