Hair falling out

Hi, my daughter is 4 years old & has recently had some hair falling out. It has gone from really thick & curly to thin & wavy.

My question is this-can this happen as a side affect of meds? I read all of the labels & it didn't say anything about that.

This is a list of her meds:

Clendomyacin 2tsp 3x day
Augmentin 6ml 2x day
Flonase 1spray each nostril 2x day
Singulair 1x day
Clarinex 1tsp 2x day
Prednisolone 7ml 1x day
Pulmozyne
She has also been using Xopenex atleast 1x day the past week but the hair started thinning before that.

Any help would be appreciated.

My hair falls out to where it's bothersome. I'm not bald anywhere, it's not even too thin anywhere.

For one, my hair changed when I was about 4-5. I had red curly hair (much like Shirley Temple) and it ended up being wavy and pretty dark.

Also, yes, meds can affect hair. More likely, though, lack of vitamins. One of the vitamins we have trouble absorbing has a lot to do with what hair is made of. And since we lack it, our hair is more fragile. It breaks easier, etc.

She has a clinic visit tomorrow. She was taking a vitamin but they took her off of it when she started the clendomyacin so I will talk to the dr about it tomorrow. I'm crossing my fingers that the clendomyacine has worked because if not she will be going for IV Antibiotics.

Does anyone have any suggestions about a specific vitamin to ask for?
