After IV antibiotics I loose a considerable amount of hair for a few weeks. It usually evens out over time.

Lately I've noticed my hair beginning to thin out. It is distressing me a bit because I'm not to keen on going bald at 30. My thyroid function is fine and I have not been on any heavy duty IV antibiotics in over three years. I'm guessing it's genetics. My question is, are any of you guys experiencing hair loss? If so, do you take any drug to help prevent it? Is taking/using a drug like finasteride or Minoxidil even OK for someone with Cystic Fibrosis to do? Any interactions with other meds? I'm going to ask my doctor about it at my next appointment but would appreciate any advice till then. Thanks. </end quote>

It must be different with every body , I have taken Pred many times in my life
and have been on a low dose 10mg for over 3 years now. My hair is not only
still thick I am getting hair in places I never had it before. Ears ,back..

I use to have hairy legs and that is gone, I am not sure it is from Pred though.
