I've always followed Hal Soloff's journey. For those of you who don't know, he is a CFer in his late 70's. He has worked as a teacher, lawyer, and has two kids and has been married for over 50 years. He is a great teacher for those of us with CF and has been recognized for many years for his work for the CF community.

I just was wondering if anyone has an update on what he's up to lately...I think he turned 77 on April 9.

Yes, he turned 77 on 4/9. He post on Cystic-L. This is what he post when people where wishing him a happy birthday and some got confused and were wishing happy anniversary. I hope that I can live as long as he has and be celebrating being with my soul mate for all those years. It is truly a blessing.

"Just for a bit of clarification...Lori was close. Today, April 9th is my 77th birthday. June 3rd will be Phyllis' and my 52nd anniversary. I consider it amazing, not only to survive the insidious disease Cystic Fibrosis (I still capitalize it), but that I can still remember the dates. When I consider that Herbert Hoover was President when I was born, I'm old! Phyllis gives me the reason to go on, the gray cells still work, but the bod is showing the strain. For those of you out there who have or have a child with CF, when you or they reach 77, you'll know what I mean." Hal
