Too funny. A couple weeks ago we went to pick up the new transformers dvd and Max wanted Strawberry Shortcake. Kids are so weird!

Max tells us he's going as Darth Vader AND a Skeleton. This is the child who wears costumes on a regular basis -- He's got Leonardo (Ninja Turtle), Buzz Lightyear, Spiderman/Venom (reversible). We'll probably send him to preschool with his Skeleton costume because his Darth Vader Mask is rather heavy.

Not sure what DH and I are going to be -- I picked up Frankenstein & Pumpkin masks cheap awhile back and we have devil horns & tails, etc. from previous years. I'll probably be the pumpkin and quote Robot Chicken's spoof on Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin episode and chase max around yelling "You shall let the Great Pumpkin EAT you".

My little ones are going jungle themed. The oldest (3) will be a lion and the youngest (1) will be a little monkey. I guess I could get a whip and be the carnival trainer...?

If I feel like dressing up, I will probably be a vampire. Which isnt unusal/original but I do have movie-type quality fangs. They attach to your real canines, so they look real.

Well, I wasn't going to dress up for school this year. I was planning on just wearing a pumpkin t-shirt and jeans, since we have a half day of school and it is mostly party. But, then the principal announced that teachers were only allowed to wear jeans if they were part of a costume. No way I'm going to give up a chance to wear jeans to work, so I"m going to bend the rules and throw a wizard's cape and hat on over the t-shirt and jeans. It will amuse the kids.
