Halo Salt Room

I'm thinking it might be a cleansing and refreshing outing for February. Perhaps Piper can go check it out for us. We could get media there for sure which would probably make the owner more likely to give us a group discount.

I'm seeing the headline something like this...
<b>Five cystic fibrosis patients meet for first time at a salt room.</b>

Space is limited. If you are interested RSVP asap to me and we'll decide on a date. Each person would have their own room and we'd only do one round since they may not be able to disinfect to our standards to have cf patients in a confined space like that back to back. Those who would like can go get lunch somewhere or just head home.

Who's in?
Thoughts?

That sounds SO interesting! I'm nervous that I'd be coughing as hard as I do during my hypersal treatment lol I don't know if I'd do the salt therapy, but I'd definately be down to a meet up. Please keep me posted on any details!

I saw Joni's post about salt rooms and thought I'd resurrect this. If I can get a few people interested I will make it happen. Let me know if you are interested.

Im in !! I also posted on fb, my RT responded, that yes indeed there is one, I think called Halo in Manhattan.. She said she thinks they give CFers a discount.. She also said to call her & she would give me more info !!

CF is definitely a kind of disorder to which salt therapy should be counted as an alternative treatment method. The community is yet "fresh" but specialists with a degree are available, so comeon ask and share...
