I use either Lubriderm, or an Aloe Vera gel. These types of oinments are really good for super dry, scaley skin (its also used on tattoos which tend to peel and get super dry). PLus there's no smell to them.

I like Kiehl's traditional hand lotion-its pricey so I get it off Ebay or discount cosmetic suppliers. For a big (like 20 oz bottle) its about 15-20 dollars I think. Of course, I lasts a long time. Its organic, its so smoothing and I love the smell-just a soft baby powderish smell. Not overpowering. Not greasy at all-

Man should we be doing commercials??

The best thing I've found I actually used to sell at a bath and body store! It's L'Occitane 20% Shea Butter Hand Cream. You can go to www.loccitane.com to order it or see if there is a store near you. You can also get it at Sephora stores or online. You can buy a 1 ounce travel sizt too that way if you don't like you aren't left with a ton. It is expensive but a little goes a long way and it is amazing stuff! I only get 2 tubes a year and I have exzema!

I hate hand lotion, too seems like everything gets slippery and greasy. And this time of year my hands get so dry because I'm constantly washing them and using hand sanitizer. It gets to the point that my hands are like sandpaper and any kind of lotion just KILLS. I've started using gloves when I wash dishes and when my hands start getting dry, I will slather on lotion before I put on my gloves and that seems to help.

My husband uses neutragena norwegian hand cream. My sister works in a clinic and has to wash her hands frequently. Last year I got her some L'Occitane hand gel, which she just LOVES. Think it has some cooling emolients in it. Says it's not greasy. I have seen some kits at sephora and other places with come with gloves -- think Bliss makes one which is really spendy, but you put lotion on, then the gloves and sleep with them on. I haven't tried that yet -- but desperate times....

I use Norwegian cold hand cream, it is the best on the market, no kidding these Norwegians know there stuff when it comes to the effect of the cold and dryness to the hands. It rubs in really smoothly and I find it works wonders on my hands.

And for those of you are wondering why I use hand cream, I run the frozen food department in a large superstore, have done for the last 10 years, and as I cant wear gloves at work, my hands got extremely dry and cracked over the years, until I found this Norway cream.

I appreciate all of your thoughts. Keep them coming as I am hoping to make a decision soon. In the meantime I will use what I have!
