Thinking of our special friend who touched so many lives with her compassion and humor. She was there for me when I needing someone to listen. I am especially grateful for the network of wonderful people she wove into my life.
The rose from Melissa's celebration of life hangs on my mirror reminding me of my friend and the gifts she gave me. Thank you my friend.

So well said, Jane! Melissa, JazzysMom did weave us altogether. She was ever-present, a wealth of inspiration, information and hospitality, a comforter, a peacemaker, the glue for many years.

Her birthday reminder, the rose, was well chosen!

She did touch many hearts, including mine. When I first joined this site years ago, scared and newly diagnosed, she was there for me, one of the first to welcome me with open arms here as well as very patient with my many questions. I miss her humor. God gained an incredible angel <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> She will always be remembered in my heart.

Well. I love and miss you. This past year has been weird without you. I was so used to talking to you every day. It has been hard for me not having you to talk to. Especially now since Zoe has been sick. Whenever she was sick/hospitalized....you called me EVERY day. Just like when you were sick/in hospital...i called you everyday...we knew we were always there for eachother no matter what. I miss that. I love you so much....I hope you're having an amazing party!!! P.S.........I'm watching out for jazz...

Melissa, Jazzysmom, was the first person I had contacted on this site in the chat room when I first joined.

I was battling with many things at the time, and it at a time where I wished I were somewhere else, or somewhere back in time.


But by talking to Mel, it had helped me find my way back to the US through the current updates from the feedback she gave me, in addition to finding out my dealings with CF wasn't much different from others with CF.

She also helped me discover that I have a sense of humor (maybe a dangerous discovery?)

But, with her listening skills, had indirectly helped me improve my English skills because I had been submerged totally in a foreign language so much and for so long I rarely used my own.

I also think of Mel at unexpected times and how she must be looking over all of us...Happy Birthday!
