Happy birthday

Melissa, Jazzysmom, was the first person I had contacted on this site in the chat room when I first joined.

<br />I was battling with many things at the time, and it at a time where I wished I were somewhere else, or somewhere back in time.
<br />
<br />
<br />But by talking to Mel, it had helped me find my way back to the US through the current updates from the feedback she gave me, in addition to finding out my dealings with CF wasn't much different from others with CF.
<br />
<br />She also helped me discover that I have a sense of humor (maybe a dangerous discovery?)
<br />
<br />But, with her listening skills, had indirectly helped me improve my English skills because I had been submerged totally in a foreign language so much and for so long I rarely used my own.
<br />
<br />I also think of Mel at unexpected times and how she must be looking over all of us...Happy Birthday!

Mel was the first person I made contact with here 4 years ago, 6 months after losing Christine to CF. I was lost and did not know if coming to a CF site was a good idea. Mel with her sweet way and openess took away any fear of coming back into the CF world. I owe her everything for that!

Her Party which will be 3 years ago Tuesday was a culmination of how much she was loved and all of those who loved her.

I miss her terribly. Never had a friend on such a level of trust as everyone had with Mel. The world is just not the same without her here....

I'm not a regular poster, however I didn't want to pass on wishing Mel a happy, angelic birthday.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Mel had an art of reigning us all in together, she also had a special empathy to reach people. I felt she dropped everything inorder to share, despite days when her own health must have been a struggle.

Heaven is blessed with her presence!
