HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

On Live with Regis & Kelly they did their annual Mothers Day special. One of them was for a Mom whose son was killed at the age of 20 & she donated his organs.....

In addition to a bunch of fun things. This woman was able to meet the people who received her sons organs. It was very emotional. I know many of our tx CFers on here have sent letters to the donors families. If they were as receptive as this lady was then you really made their day!

IN ADDITION:

Out of all the Moms (CFers, Mom to CFers, Grandmas to CFers or Moms to children of CFers) I am interested in knowing if you could have a dream come true granted by Regis & Kelly.....what would it be? This is slightly different then wishes granted by the different foundations because its geared more towards the mothering part of your life.

If you were to be the one to send a letter to Regis & Kelly on behalf of someone what would you say?

IN CONCLUSION:

I would like to wish EVERY Mom on here a very Happy Mothers Day! This is one job that even in today's society......is under appreciated. We are role models, teachers, spiritual advisors. We help mold what our children will become.

We tackle the daily issues that life brings in general and then get the extras that CF brings. It makes us stronger, but not before we think we are about to break in two.

It has its rewards and heartbreaks......

But if I had to choose something and it was unlimited, I would say a new house with a separate clean room that Garran can go to to do his treatments and meds that doesnt have mold or bacterias. Something easy to clean and yet kid friendly.

Sounds silly but I get so tired of all these allergens all over, wouldnt it be nice to have somewhere in your own home to go where there are no allergens and he can breathe better.

Some would say it sounds like putting him in a bubble, but his allergies are so bad, I hate seeing him suffer with them in addition to the CF crap.

Anyway, thats my wish.

But if I had to choose something and it was unlimited, I would say a new house with a separate clean room that Garran can go to to do his treatments and meds that doesnt have mold or bacterias. Something easy to clean and yet kid friendly.
