Hi...ive been in and out of here for a while now...but have recently really been visiting.
Hi, Im Christian..27, only one in my family with CF. Graduated with a Biology Degree 5 years ago, but too sick to get a job for it yet.
Im in the hospital about every 8 months or so for a "tune-up," as i call them. usually Tobi, Vanco IVs, and then TPN for 6 weeks or so. (Picc line still in now..out next Friday!)
was in last October for H1N1 and Pneumonia...Intubated. ICU for 3 weeks!...not fun..but i was out 1 week after that, a miracle!
Taking one day at a time. I love my life! Well most parts of it. I have an Awesome family! I will soon be 28 and look 15, but that doesnt phase me! I have amazing friends and cousins and brothers and sisters who know me and understand me so that doesnt matter!
I am glad a place like this is here so i can connect to others who know what i feel, know what i fear and know what i hope for. Thank you!
