Have A Politically Correct Holiday

My personal oppinion, and I don't mean to offend people if I do. But we do not call a menorah, a holiday menorah or kinara, a holiday kinara. These are things that represent that religon and how they are celebrated. So why on earth are we calling a Christmas tree a holiday tree? I'm all about respecting others values, but this seems a little silly to me.

Does any one else know what holidays, around christmas that involve a tree?

<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Pretty much huh!? Last year Seatac airport had to take down all of their decorations because a rabi threatened to sue if they didn't put up a menorah. </end quote></div>

I remember that. What they really should have done was put up the menorah instead of taking down all the Christmas decorations...

I'm with Amber. As long as they represent a variety of holidays, who cares. Call it Christmas. There's no need for "holiday." Just be sure to add a menorah and whatever else is appropriate, and it's all good.
