Mine is basically under control, too, but sometimes I have to get up in the night and pee or I'm really tired and realize that I didn't quite give myself enough insulin. How often do you check your blood sugars and when? Try two hours after (in addition to whatever your doctor suggests) and write it down. You may need a sliding scale (check with your doctor), if you aren't already doing it. When I check two hours after eating, if I am 150 or more, then I give myself an extra unit for every 50 over 100. Again, I would document and then check with your doc before making changes. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
