have questions about sick friend

Hi Friend, I am not a doctor, but i do have C/F and have had severe stomach issues for oh about 40 years now.. I know many C/Fers have blockages and many other problems..

Many ppl don't realize the it is not just a lung disease, it affects many of the organs in the body.. I'm sure that her c/f drs (hopefully that is who is taking care of her) will know exactly what to do.. again these problems are not uncommon to C/Fers..

Those sites you were given should give you some answers..

It is probably a bowel obstruction. I have had a few partial blockages (along with lung complications) that always result in bloated stomach, nausea, and abdominal pain (severe can indicate a blockage). I hope for the best for your friend!

Sounds like an ileus. It also sounds like shes got some GI bleeding going on with the hematemesis (brown/black vomit)

could be intususeption, where the intestine gets stuck, very painful, but if it does not resolve on it own, can be repaired from surgery.
