Hi all...
AGAIN THANK YOU ALL MY CF FAMILY FOR ALL YOUR LOVE RE MY KARIS PASSING... I know that most of you are aware that my 23 yr old daughter Holli Jade (H.J.) has CF also and that my girls hve the DD508 genes... I feel bad in a way that ALL the focus from me has been on Kari but you see Holli has always been SO healthy that I would FORGET that she has CF! She just arrived home from CPMC from a tune up and her 02 sats were 100%! Holli wants to start logging on and wants to "meet" you all, and wanted me to inform you before hand that she has had a drug problem, meth and oxycontin, meth is alot of what took Kari from us, (she hadn't done it in YEARS) but the damage was DONE. And that she was in rehab (almost completed 90 days) when Kari passed and she slipped the day Kari died and took oxycontin to numb herself and now has to do 30 more days.
I told her that she would not be judged here... that I had the MOST wonderful "family" here and that she would be welcomed with open arms. Does ANYONE know ANYONE that is 23 yrs old w/DD508 who is doing this well? it is CRAZY! Holli would like to speak with you all and join our family... I KNOW I am BABBLING again just still in shock... so for those who do not know of Karis site
