Oh, I"m sorry to hear this. I will keep you in my prayers. I know when we're on meds that don't seem to be working it is very frustrating.

Just in case you didn't know, sometimes we feel WORSE before we feel better. There was recently a post about this on here. Its basically that the "bugs" are entering your blood stream or something and are basically toxins in your body causing fever, etc. Many many people feel a lot worse their first week or so on IVs and then start to feel better. I know I always feel terrible around the 3-4 days of IV meds.

And, to make matters worse, many women on this board also say during PMS they feel much sicker (cough blood, etc.) Has something to do with hormones, I think. As I've gotten older I always feel more gunky and short of breath around that time of the month.

Also, with regard to the ativan... I've been on that in the past and it works well. Anxiety is terrible and I hope you get it under control so you can focus on healing.

Thinking of you....

Hang in there! It is tough when you do not feel well and drugs are not working as expected, it feels there is no light at the end of the tunnel. But please remember that there is! Tommorow is a new day, the sun always comes up and like the old saying, "this too shall pass". My prayers are with you. Be tought and stay strong and positive!
