Another possibility: Eating peanuts may promote inflammation because they are high in arachidonic acid. I and my son wcf have generally done better since we gave them up.

Peace.

i dont know what to say. I myself do not have Cf but I do have asthma.

Sometimes while eating I may inhale something and I start coughing alot then I begin wheezing and it will feel like something is still in my airways. So after a treatment or two I feel improvement.

That actually happened to me yesterday while eating a lifesaver. LOL! I was crunching it up and I must have taken in a breath and inhaled a piece and started coughing horribly and could not get it out and started wheezing like crazy. I was able to calm down after a breathing treatment.

There is something called aspiration pneumonia. It's when food or other particles capable of causing infection are accidently inhaled. This can happen to anyone, but usually it happens to people who have swallowing difficulties or other problems that allow food particles into their airways. Choking on something could lead to an infection. Not saying it will definitly happen but I would get it checked if things get worse.
