I am so proud of the two of us for working so hard so he could go with his class to North Bay. He was able to stay the entire 5 days like the rest of his class. He came home Friday afternoon. The nursing staff was wonderful....made sure he took all of his medicines and even knew how to use the ACAPELLA. His cough sounds just slightly better than when he left, so that lets me know he does better when he takes his Xopenex by nebulizer and not by hand held inhaler. I have him back on the nebulizer and using the ACAPELLA twice a day. I'll check in with the CF clinic toomorrow to see if they want to make changes.
He got to touch a vulcher (yuk), see a dead deer (mainly bones) rock climb, slip in the stream and get messy, and ride in a zip chair down a long slope. He really had a good time and I am so glad he didn't have to sit this one out.....we've missed enough trips in his 12 years.
Thanks everyone for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers!!!!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">
