My daughter 24 has been on oxygen for at least 2 years, she is now on 8-10 continuous flow. Since about 6 mos ago (o2 was 5-6) we noticed that she seems to have trouble hearing. At first I thought it was cause she was hearing oxygen in candila. Our conversations usually are I say something she says what and I repeat. yesterday she told me not hearing is annoying I said really and she said what???? lol. I am debating writing up signs. Just wondering anyone else having hearing issues on o2. She is on Creon, Dornase, albuterol, Tobi every other mos.

I don't use o2 but I do have hearing loss due to tobramycin ..
Is your daughter taking any meds that affect hearing ? Did she see an ENT ? If not I suggest she does so that they can have a base line for her hearing ..

Thanks for your response . She has been on Tobi on and off since she was little. Her doctor has told her not to use it anymore. The CF folks did an auditory test yesterday ( I think the doctor got a little tired of her saying what all the time)and want her to see and ENT now. So we are in the process of looking for one.
