Hello... from Holli Jade... Kari's sister

It's me finally! Kari's sister... I have been wanting to join so badly since Kari died in May but NO computer! So my Mom Lisa got me a laptop for Christmas... So anyway as I said I am Kari's younger sister Holli Jade my Mom has been on here for a LONG time she is karismom...I am 23 yrs old and I have CF too. I have had 2 sinus surgeries, I have pseudomonas, I am on Pulmozyme, enzymes, and have only been in the hospital five times ever! My fev1 is 93 fev2 is 89 so I am doing really good... my sister was always SO MUCH sicker than me. I Thank God every day for sparing me so far... I am excited about meeting you all My Mom has talked about her "CF family" for a long time and she never would have been able to handle Kari's death without you. Soooo Hello! Would love to hear from you all take care.

Welcome!!! So glad to see you are finally here. I am 30 yo with CF. I have a younger sister (26) with CF. I had an older brother with CF who died in 2005 1-month post transplant.

I can empathize with you regarding losing a close sibling to CF after transplant. It's so hard to go through such an invasive event like that only to experience the worst case scenario. I saw Kari's pic of her at the beach... that was beautiful... seemed like she really enjoyed that trip out there. You also have a beautiful niece.
