I agree with how you're feeling. We won't always know who may be contagious and asymptomatic when our little ones are around others...because you know in this situation, I say stay away. It's tough at times, but you won't have regrets afterwards....

Thanks everyone. We did not go and are having a blast at home. FYI: third hand smoke has been a major issue with me since Philip was born. We have all but cut off contact with my husband's father and step mother because they think I am overprotective and that third hand smoke is a myth. It's amazing how ignorant people can be. Oh well, we have lots of other wonderfully supportive family in all of this, thank goodness. Including my extended family...YOU GUYS!!!

We have all but cut off contact with my husband's father and step mother because they think I am overprotective and that third hand smoke is a myth. It's amazing how ignorant people can be. Oh well, we have lots of other wonderfully supportive family in all of this, thank goodness. Including my extended family...YOU GUYS!!!
