Oh yeah: My Air cleaner is a Hepa filter and I love it. It really made a difference for me. I tried one once that put out ozone and I was none stop coughing the whole time it ran. I got rid of it so fast. I actually stopped it for a few days and stopped coughing, then turned it back on and I couldn't believe the difference, I found in really small print that ozone may be bad for Asthma. Well yeahhh! it sure was. I ended up sending it back and getting my money back. I can't remember the name of it but it was a tall tower and supposedly made the room smell like the clean outdoors. It did but ozone is really bad for some of us with CF. Now they make them without ozone, that tells you something. I ended up buying another type and Im happy with it. it doesn't get rid of dust all together but it sure helps. Im still doing my own house keeping cause I have had such trouble finding someone who understands that I need good dusting and thourough cleaning of dust. I just cant stand paying for such a poor job that I have to end up cleaning again after they leave,or they have damaged something of mine. No biggy it is just some bad experience. I should keep trying to find the right person I guess. It takes energy.

I'de love to know what some others experiences have been with house cleaning help.

Sorry for two many posts I think it is alziemers. The name of my Air cleaner that I love is the Vornado from the allergy magazine i mentioned before. It blows air up instead of out into the room. More practical.

Oh, yeah, I've heard that humidifiers are bad for bugs too. My mom used to run one in my room before they diagnosed me with CF (wasn't diagnosed until I was 8) and they told her it was bad for me. My apartment gets REALLY dry in the winter so I will sometimes just let the shower run for a few minutes with the door open to give the air some moisture. (with me in it or not ) Just leave the door open so the steam goes out.

Another thing you can do is wash clothes, then hang them to dry. It makes the air very moist as they dry and smells nice too.

Im really curious now, what kind of bugs? They have probably come along way with humidifiers since way back. We should ask the company what they have to say. I will next time I order filters. I will also ask my doctor and my allergist. Bugs ooooohhhh.
Im freaked now. I have to go to yoga now. Im all bugged out.
