You might also want to ask your pharmacist. He or she should be able to tell you if the Panecarb is a formulary or nonformulary on your insurance list. That might be why it is so high. I know that when creon20 went to creon 24 they considered it nonformualry so my copay went up.

Check out the CFF.org website, click on the CF services pharmacy. On the left side there is a block for CF services products and prices and you can see what they charge for their enzymes. There is also a block for CF Patient Assistance programs which leads you to various links. I hope this helps.

Just remember to never ever settle on generic enzymes if they are offered from your retail pharmacy.

Thanks so much guys!!! I went to the site you gave me Debra and it looks like it is for the pulmonary side of CF. Liza, I did know about the CF pharmacy and got some good info there. Thankfully, the pharmacy here (Hawaii) is great and our nurse back in Phoenix is absolutely awesome, so it looks like they have set us up with Ultrase for now. Caleb gets it free until he is 4 and Ethan will get a $20 discount. We will see how it works. Maybe it will be the change we needed<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Ultrase is far cheaper the Pancrecarb!!!!

Sad to say, that we don't have a CF clinic in Hawaii (other than military, which we can't use). So, I really appreciate your input!!!!!

blessings,
missa
