hey there. my husband is 25 and was just diagnosed with CF 3 weeks ago. they put him on enzymes, nexium and albuterol inhaler. They also gave him a "pickle" to do a few times a day.

He says he feels his lungs have gotten worse and he feels like he needs oxygen. We don't go back to the clinic until the 8th of July and I'm just worried. should I take him to the hospital?

Are any of you on oxygen at home? He's very dizzy and going numb.

Thank you for your help

I have NO IDEA what a "pickle" is??? Can you call your clinic and tell them what is going on.....maybe speak to the doctor on call. Yes, there are some CFers who are on oxygen and some require it when they are hospitalized. They use an oximeter to read oxygen levels and determine whether someone is getting what they need.
