We just found out on 3/17/10 that Alyssa has DeltaF508/c.2789+5G>A per Ambry now I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this other gene and if so could someone please tell me somethng when I asked her doctor they could'nt tell me anything about it. So please somebody if you know let me know feeling so confused.

I just read these articles, which I believe states it can fall in the mild CF range, something about c.2789+5G>A improves the conditions and reduces the severity of CF in some cases. I would not take it gospel because every case is different, but these are from reliable journals and studies.
