OH my GOSH Emily! Those pics made me cringe!!!
YES, that is exactly what I was trying to explain that they looked like, especially the last one...looked more like what Kayla's would look like. Ughh, brought back memories...I still worry when she says her bottom is hurting during bowel movements that it's going to happen again-last one was 5 years ago.

Just wanted to say I am right there with you. Taylor had 4 rectal prolapses before she was diagnosed. We even took a picture of one on the digital camera so we could show it to the doctor so she would know exactly what we were talking about! It is what led us to getting a sweat test, etc.
Taylor never seemed too bothered by them. I think it upset us more than her!

The first two procedures were within a few months of each other, and it stopped them for about a year. Then they started happening again, and we had the procedure repeated. She has had once since then, but it corrected itself.
You are correct, I don't think it was painful when it happened. It just upset us so much when they would not reduce on their own and they would have to be pushed back in. It's not something that you want to have to do to your daughter<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">
