Here's some information about hemoptysis:

My first bout with hemoptysis was when I switched to a different type of nebulized medication. I'm pretty sure it was colistin. Coughing up the blood really worried me, especially since I was alone (in my college apartment) at the time. I called the doctor and they said to come in for a shot of vitamin K. Since my bleed wasn't massive, the vitamin K helped. They also said to inhale some saline (non-hyptertonic) just to keep things moist and prevent them from bleeding again.
Hemoptysis can be scary. Just keep in touch with the doctor and follow their recommendations.
I hope things get resolved without any complications.
