hey everyone cf and pregnancy update

hey everyone. well i made it to 8 months pregnant. though i spent most of this new year in a hospital due to complications. the baby doesnt have cf we got my husband tested and he came up negative. things are going alot better with him too. he stopped smoking in the house and better yet hes asking a dr to help him stop compeltely. hes been alot cooler with everything going on. the baby should be here in a few days...preterm labor and dialation and all. im dialated to five and none of the meds they give to stop my contractions will stop them. so since ive had four steriod shots they figured it would be ok to go ahead and let me deliver. baby lucas is really wanting to come out right now. the seventh month went super fast. i coudlnt believe it. he weighs four pounds right now and he is already starting to suck his thumb...lol funny what sonograms can show. anyways i better get off here and get some rest. miss ya all. mwah. stupid bedrest lol <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

So, we should be hearing of the big news any day now???? Looking forward to the birth announcement. Sorry for the bedrest thing--what a drag! Hope you are feeling ok otherwise, and have a safe and short delivery.

vampy, I'm glad to hear things are going well for you all. I look forward to the baby announcement and will keep you and baby lucas in my prayers. SO are you at the beginning of the 8th month or more towards the end? I can see why they want to keep that baby in you. I'm not sure if you are 32 or more like 36 weeks but a few extra days or week's can make a big difference.

Have you requested anything specifically in terms of labor and delivery?

Also, you mention steroid shots - what were they for? lung development in the baby?

Of course, I'm asking all these questions to learn from your experience for my own pregnancy that is progressing well (I'm at 22 weeks) :)
