Well, after lurking for a couple months now I finally decided to
get an account of my own and hopefully start contributing! I
stumbled upon this site while doing a search on hypertonic saline a
while ago and have been hooked ever since. It is so
refreshing and reassuring to read about how other people have the
exact same issues as me. <br>

A little about me...let's see, I'm 24 and was diagnosed with CF
when I was one year old. Had a normal childhood growing up in
the country with horses, dogs, cats and other animals. I went
to college and got a bachelor of science with a major in biology
and minor in chemistry and am now considering what to do with said
degree. I live in Wisconsin with my boyfriend (Nick) and my
cat (Dante). By the way, Liz, I love your kitty pictures!
I'm a sucker for cats...I'm sure you'd all figure that out
soon enough so I might as well tell you. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"><br>

As far as CF goes, my FVC is 60% (up for me, yay!) and I do all the
routine stuff, pills, vest & nebs. I did just start
the hypertonic saline about a week and a half ago and I am loving
it. It makes me cough a lot, which really helps clear me
out.<br>

I'm sure you'll get to know me more, so I'll leave a bit of a
mystery for now. Heh, I'm considering starting a blog,
so maybe you'll learn much more than you wished if you read it. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
