Hi Marci, And welcome to the site... You are now officially a member of "The Gang" <img src="">
You have an amazing story, as are many of them here..
I turned 56 in December..
I was also a late dx. 44 at the time...
Met my husband (2nd one) in 85, married in 89. I have 4 sons, ages 33,29,18 (on the 24th.) , 15 and Mima to my 2 y/o grandson..
My family and myself were in that river too.. until i had renal failure about 4 yrs. ago.. That was the point that we all jumped on the barge called "Do ya wanna live"... My family is great motivation for me...
I also have m. abcessus ( was recently dxd w/ it) so far not being treated for it.. There some others here w/ it, plenty of info/support. If you want to talk PM me..
