My daughter Jaden who is 15 months old has CF and I have a 10 year son Zack who does not. I've been looking for a place to talk and share and get advice. Jaden was diagnosed at 8 months and has been doing great. This week we got a call she tested postive for the pseudomonas bacteria and have started her on breathing treatments and have been overwhelmed since. I guess I just thought about having to do them. I was so scared and nervous. We do the abeutrol and then the Tobi. She has been ok through them I guess. We love Barney here, LOL I am really looking forward to getting to know everyone and hoping to find a place where people can relate to how I feel.

I think we're in the same boat! Our daughter tested positive for pseudonomous last week for the first time and we started TOBI yesterday. So far she's being a trooper... but we're struggling trying to figure out how to add this into the schedule and how to just take care of all of the equipment. I feel like each time we add something new it takes me 2 weeks to start to feel comfortable with it. Anyway... if you have any tips about the equipment or keeping them entertained during it, I'd love to hear it!

Well I was having a hard time getting her to sit. A friend suggested I put her in her car seat and we watch Barney and it worked so well. She sat so nice for me and only fussed a wee bit. I let her out between treatments for a break and she was so good and it actually was alot easier too. Feel free to email me anytime.
