High Triglycerides

Hi, my daughter's bloodwork just came back with high triglycerides and I did some research on it and i do see a correlation with cf. my question is, did anyone else experience this because our doc says not to worry at this time but i can't help but worry. any info, anyone??

It is directly related to Cystic Fibrosis; high triglycerides are directly caused by excessive high fat/sugar diets (which most CF'ers do eat), can by caused by excessive medications, and in most instances is related to diabetes, liver and kidney problems. I would push the issue just bc CFRD is so prevalent now. Better safe than sorry! <img src="i/expressions/hugging.gif" border="0"> Good luck!
