HillRom VEST settings

I just received a VEST I got off eBay & am excited to start using it however although I've read the manual & understand how to input settings I'm not sure what would be a good one to start off with. I need a gentle program to begin with as I don't want to damage my sensitive ribs. Obviously there will be trial & error until I find what works best for me. Unfortunately I live in a country where the doctors don't know how to use the VEST so I'm hoping to get some suggestions from those of you with VEST experience. I tried contacting HillRom but they ignore me. Thanks so much.

Frequency: 10hz for 10min
Stop and huff cough
12hz for 10min
Stop and huff cough
14hz for 10-20min is what i do now.
huff Cough when finished Pressure of 8 currently. This will mainly be adjusted by what you can stand, usually the higher the better as it will help to transfer more of those vibrations into actual productive cough. You may need to tweak it, but this is pretty standard to start with for most CF'ers, but you know your body best so do what works for you.

Also make sure to do this after or during albuterol/pulomozyme/hypertonic saline. If you take any inhaled antibiotics save those for last as you want those to stay in the lungs. Usually wait a few minutes to make sure you are done coughing before taking inhaled antibiotics. Usually if it's needed I'll do my Advair last after everything.
