Himalayan Salt lamps

Hi all,

Has anyone ever used these? My dad just got back from Australia, and heard about this treatment there. Apparently, it's pretty widely accepted there. I am a bit hesitant to try treatments that haven't been studied extensively... Don't want my baby to be the guinea pig I guess. This seams rather simple and like a logical remedy.

Any thoughts???

My mother gave us one for our daughter for Christmas. In general, our understanding is that it can't hurt. There's not a lot of proof that it does anything, but for me, as long as it isn't going to hurt her, then I'm game. My daughter won't always let us leave it on, she's 15 months and sometimes she asks for us to turn it off, but we leave it on when she will let us.
