holistic treatment at Stanford?

Hi everyone.
my daughter is 5 and treats with Dr. Milla at Stanford. We really like our center and our treatment. We recently began treating at Stanford again and are grateful for the team.

I'm always researching treatment and what I can do better or work on.

I was wondering if any of you see a holistic or alternative therapist in addition to your physician's and do any of your centers include that option as part of your CF clinic visit?

Look forward to hearing back from any of you on this!

I've never heard of adding a holistic therapist into the CF care team. I'm not so sure it is my thing, but I'm interested in hearing what others have to say.

I believe that it's sometimes called "Integrative Health" at some hospitals/clinics. A relative who is a chiropractor offered to come in or recommend someone when DS was having issues after his surgery with another bowel obstruction to try to avoid a second surgery.

Hi! I have a 5 year old son with cf. I was like you a few years ago and began researching alternative treatments for CF. I have been giving my son GSH (glutathione) from Theranaturals for the last two years. He has done wonderful and only cultures a small amount of staff. He stays relatively healthy and I can always tell if we miss a treatment with the GSH. We use the inhaled GSH twice a day. I do it in the morning after his albuterol and in the evening after the albuterol and before the pulmozyme. His CF doc knows that we use it and his opinion was that it won't hurt him he just wasn't sure it would help him. Will it does help him tremendously and I am so thankful to have found it for him.
