Hospital Bound

Terri, I am taking a suitcase of stuff. My laptop, Gameboy SP w/ games, Nitendo DS w/ games (hospital stay gave me a good excuse to buy new games), my online class books, cross stitching (just started into it), a book, puzzle books, CD Player w/ CDs, Portable DVD Player w/ a few movies & snacks. Do you think that will be enough? lol. The biggest thing I will use is my laptop. I'm addicted to the site and the internet in general

I am glad it is to start me off. It does take some of the stress and anxiety off. I hope they keep their word and be home soon.

At least you're in a very reputable hospital and they should get you going in the right direction. sounds like you are well-stocked up for things to do!

I think 7th floor was where Tricia was, wasn't it?

GET WELL!

Well, I'm here. Locked up in cell block 7. We got in the room around 6pm. Everyone seems nice so far. The rooms are smaller than the ones on the peds floor. Which made bringing in & finding a place for all of my stuff quite interesting. I am on contact isolation , but they said as long as I put on a mask & gloves I can leave the room & walk the floor, just dont go into patients rooms. I wouldnt do that anyway. So I'm not totally confined like I was on the peds floor, but it still sucks since I'm not home. Oh, and the bed is hard! I hate it, no sleep for me. It is one of those beds they use for patients that cant move themselves. So this loud jet engine sound comes on and off when the bed is vibrating. It should be a long & interesting night.I will keep everyone up to date.

Aspie, I think so. 7th floor is the pulmonary floor here at Duke, plus Tricia and I do have the same doctor.

Thanks Joni.
