i'm definitely going to make the hospital play the bad guys. i don't want a ton of people at the hospital after the baby is born. they can wait a few days or a week to come see her at home. i'm not a big fan of a lot of people at the hospital. and i am a very modest person and i want to breastfeed so i really don't want people all up in my business. maybe the mosdesty will die down after a few weeks.

Why don't you ask now if people would need to wear a mask or if you are just protecting others as well as yourself with the private room. if it seems it will be obvious that you are sick then just tell everyone you will hold off on visitors until you're home - and as everyione else said, learning to breastfeed is no fun when you have visitors that you aren't as comfortbale with seeing you breastfeed at first (like my father-in-law!)

I don;t tell everyone about my Cf either, so I totally understand not wanting to be in a situation that would make peole ask questions.
