Hey Anna, I know how you feel. I definitely feel weird for the first few days in the hospital. I attribute this to a couple of things:
-IV meds are really high dose antibiotics and they screw with your system, which can mean you feel worse before you feel better.
-I know I at least get nervous in the hospital, which makes me eat less and messes with my schedule. All that can you leave you feeling shaky and sick.
-I never sleep well in the hospital because they wake you up so much, so that makes me cranky and exhausted all the time.

Hope you're feeling better now. Being in the hospital just plain sucks, but it's almost always worth it once you feel better and your PFTs come back up!

When I was realyl younger i may have felt that way but now everytime i go to the hospital I feel like it's my second home. Everyone knew me and the only reason it's past tense is because i moved out of state.
I miss my old hospital(home).<img src="i/expressions/iv.gif" border="0">
