I feel so bad hearing Sheli's description! Poor lady!

I feel great. I'm about as far along as Wendy. Morning sickness is gone. I'm sleeping much better. I have the pee thing when I cough or laugh hard too! It is SO annoying. If its here now how bad will it be when I'm 8 or 9 months?! My appetite is ok, not ravenous like I here so many say. In fact, I have to remind myself to eat b/c I have no apetite. I am a pickier eater-its annoying hubby and my friends b/c when we go out, there's only a few places that I can eat at. Alot of places or types of food I just can't stand the sight/smell of.

We have our next ultrasound next week-I am so excited for that. And I had my cf checkup and my ob checkup this week and the ob said that she isn't concerned about me going preterm b/c my oxygen levels have stayed high and my pfts are good, my exercise tolerance is good and she feels overall I am more healthy. I was so happy to hear about that. Of course I know anything can happen and to expect anything, but it takes a load of worry off.</end quote>

My pants peeing got so bad by the end it was ridiculous. I must have changed my underwear several times a day. Ugh. I don't miss that!

I hope I didn't sound too negative! I hadn't slept in almost 48 hours and I was needing to vent. My OB visit went great yesterday, I go into his office with all these worries and complaints but I always leave feeling much better. He reassures me and helps to take the focus off of what is happening to my body and focuses on how wonderful my baby is doing. The baby is getting big!!! We will start doing ultrasounds next visit to check for meconium ileus, I am so nervous. If the baby gets much bigger I am going to have to deliver soon. I am only 5 feet tall and they had to use forceps last pregnancy, OUCH!!! I'm 34 weeks so I'm still in the grey area for lung development.

I am so glad to know I am not the only one peeing in their pants! I'm tempted to buy Depends. I pee every five minutes and it's only a few drops at a time. I should take the easy way out and go in my adult diaper so I don't have to constantly get up! Just kidding, I hope.

Christian,

I am the same way about my food. I am VERY picky about what I eat. For some reason, I have always had a thing about the texture of my food. It it is not palatable to me, then my bad gag reflex kicks in. This is not pregnancy related, I've always been like this, so, you can imagine how it is exaggerated with pregnancy. My husband gets sooo mad at me sometimes. I have a limited number of restaraunts that I will eat at. With my first pregnancy, we once drove around for an HOUR while on vacation trying to find something that I would eat. He was really patient that time - I really love him!! Anyway, I know how the "make yourself eat" thing goes when nothing really sounds good. But, that's what I do - EAT!

I'm glad to hear you're doing well. Let us know how the ultrasound goes. It's so fun to see them moving around! And about the pee thing, I just bought a huge box of panty liners and I'm always prepared. I dealt with it the whole pregnancy before, so I'm ready again. It's just one of those "fun" things about motherhood.

Okay this is really funny! My baby belly measures to 40 inches already. Holy Cow!! My last ultrasound the doctors comments were "well that's a nice size baby" and my stomach just proves it- i guess he is just going to be big.

Anyway its so nice to have all of you to chat with while pregnant. I am feeling good. I am still a bit tired at the end of the day and my ribs started hurting- it feels like they are bruised. Other then that everything else is going well. My appetite is good staying healthy except for milkshakes which i can't get enough of.

Have you all started to feel the baby move? I feel the baby but he seems like he is tumbling in there- no kicks or punches yet.

Talk to you all soon.

Glad to hear how everyone is doing. I'm so excited for all of you. Christian, I didn't have a huge appetite either at ANY point in my pregnancy. Mark Nagged me day in and day out to eat . Towards the end, I had a few nights where it was brownies and a protein shake (a tiny one that I could down in 2 gulps) or popcorn and a protein shake. It was all that sounded good!

The pants peeing stopped for me at about 5.5 months.... maybe it will for you too

Oh and I forgot-
I felt the baby move for the first time, on tuesday! I had feelings before once or twice, but I wasn't sure. The first time I had a feeling was when I was about 15 weeks, so everyone said it couldn't have been. The same at 17 weeks, but I wasn't sure.
Then tuesday night-I was laying in bed and-beat, beat, beat, beat...! For sure! Its like-the only comparison I can think of is the vibration feeling you get when they flush your iv and there are air bubbles in the line, or sucking through a straw and there is air, its a similar sensation. It feels like really bubbly, pulse-like gas! lol. Now that I had that feeling the other night, I think it was the baby I felt at 15 weeks, though everyone says it couldn't have been.
Its always at the same time of day, early to mid evening. When it gets to be 6:00, I go sit down or lay down and I feel something.
Its cool!
